Our dual study program
Our dual study program provides you with one thing: the best possible combination of theory and practice! This is achieved through the close interlinking of the theoretical phases on campus and the practical phases with your "dual partner" - a company that will accompany you throughout your time at our university. The program is divided into quarterly alternating theoretical and practical phases. During the theoretical phases, you will be on campus for three months, attending lectures and taking exams. You will then enter a three-month practical phase with your dual partner, during which you will work in different departments. During each of these phases you are encouraged to apply the knowledge and competences learned during the previous theoretical and practical phases to your current situation.
International Business at a glance
The International Business degree program enables students to gain basic knowledge in the fields of economics and business administration with a focus on relevant international aspects, as international competence is required in all functional areas of an organization. The program is unique in combining business skills with international issues and cultural knowledge. Language ability and country-specific knowledge are essential to achieve this.
During the course of their studies, students gain a solid understanding of business administration as well as special insights into the characteristics of international business and cultural studies. In the third year, students choose their electives, which are then analyzed from an international perspective. The special profile of the program is defined by the subjects International Business and Intercultural Management. In addition, lectures are held in English and students enroll for at least one other foreign language. International experience can be gained through practical semesters abroad as well as a semester at one of our numerous partner universities. The three-year program ends with the academic degree Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).
Due to the broad business education, graduates of the program are employed in various functions in an international environment. Whether working with international suppliers, managing foreign subsidiaries, or marketing and selling products and services at home and abroad, international expertise is in demand everywhere. You can look forward to challenging projects, qualified administrative tasks and early management responsibility.
