About PREPARE Kick-Off Program

The PREPARE Kick-Off program is designed to prepare international participants to study at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (Duale Hochschule) Villingen-Schwenningen (DHBW VS), give them insights, familiarize them with living in Germany and bring them into contact with business and social organizations in Germany. By completing the PREPARE Kick-Off program participants will be able to start their Bachelor or Master studies at the DHBW in Villingen-Schwenningen or at any other German University.

• Intensive German language courses advancing students from level B1 to level C1 according to theCommon European Framework of Reference for Languages

• Professional German courses for Business and Social Work

• Intercultural communication skills on living and studying in Germany

• Business English courses

During the program, participants study in small groups with a strong emphasis on interaction. A dynamic and motivational atmosphere is created in the class-room where participants  from countries world-wide with diverse backgrounds experience optimal learning conditions.

The DHBW VS is the only university in Germany that has 40 years of experience in combining practical workplace training and academic studies. This close integration of theory and practice is the unique main component of dual education.
