International Week
May 8 – 12, 2023



 

We are pleased to invite academic staff and international relations colleagues to our

International Week / ERASMUS Teaching Staff Week 2023 »Globally Connected«

at the DHBW Villingen-Schwenningen / Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University. DHBW is the first state-run university in Germany to combine academic studies and practical workplace training, achieving a close integration of theory and practice, both of which are components of the dual study concept.

Application

We will accept applications until March 15.

Academic Staff

We invite academic staff to give lectures from a variety of fields, such as management, economics, finance, international relations, political science and psychology, to provide a multi-faceted insight into current issues.

International Relations Staff / non-academic staff

We invite colleagues, e.g. from International Relations or International Offices, to discuss student and staff exchanges, including blended mobility projects, and share ideas on new Erasmus+ strategic objectives: Inclusion and Diversity, Green Erasmus, Digitalization and Civic Engagement.

All participants

We will present our university and the concept of dual study, and look forward to exchanging ideas on how to increase students' employability and success.

Increasing employability of students, e.g. the dual study concept, experiences abroad, intercultural competencies, Internationalization at Home activities

Fostering student mobility - exchange of best practices, services for international students

The new Erasmus+ program and the strategic goals - challenges & opportunities for universities

Lectures and Workshops Part 4:
Staff Exchange – how to foster staff exchange for teaching and training, exchange of ideas and examples.


The Blended Learning Approach – BLIC project & Exchange of Best Practices.

Walk through the moorland "Schwenninger Moos", the origin of the river Neckar
