IT Department

The IT Department is a modern service provider for the university. It provides workstations for students in 10 rooms on all the campuses of the DHBW in Villingen-Schwenningen. The IT Department maintains the central network infrastructure, so the local network and, additionally, WLAN (wireless local area network) is available 24/7 for both students and lecturers.  The central service, namely the login service for all users of the university network, is provided by the IT Department. Students acquire their login access on enrolment, while lecturers can apply for their user account from the IT Department. The IT Department installs and maintains the media technology in lecture halls and event rooms. The IT Department personnel have collected detailed information for you on the computer rooms and other services such as e-mail, WLAN, printing, etc.  Please contact us if you have any questions!
