PC-rooms

This room is equipped with 21 Mini-PCs with 22" monitors using the Windows 7 operating system. Additionally this software is available:

• Datev-Software über Terminal-Server
• DWS Steuerberater-online
• Haufe Steueroffice-Suite

The learning lab is equipped for students involved in group work. Desks are not, as usual, arranged in rows, but in groups. Up to 20 students can work together and avail of the laptops provided. This room can be used for:

• group work
• simulations
• creating podcasts or videocasts (e.g. instead of Powerpoint presentations or study assignments)
• workshops
• student projects
• creating teaching videos

The Education Support Center (ESC) provides support for use of this room. A reservation should be made through moodle to use this room. In case of questions, please contact the ZiL team.

Equipped with 25 PCs, a variety of Windows and Unix servers and a freely accessible switch and router, the network lab provides students with an ideal installation and test environment for network operating systems of all types (e.g. Novell, Windows or Linux).

This PC pool in Schramberger Str. 26 (School of Social Work) is equipped with PCs using the Windows 7 operating system and MS Office. In addition, each PC has internet access. The location is connected via a 150 MBit/s dedicated line from unity Media.
