General Student Counseling
Balancing academic studies with personal or family matters is not always easy. General Student Counseling offers a confidential setting to discuss issues such as exam anxiety, stress, conflicts, or doubts about your studies. Together, we can find new perspectives and solutions. Resilience-building support is also available.
Designated Confidential Contacts
Students sometimes encounter situations during their studies that are distressing or unsettling—or simply feel wrong. For this reason, designated confidential contacts are available on-site for students who have experienced issues such as discrimination, sexual harassment, or other violations of personal boundaries. They are ready to listen and provide support in determining the next steps together.
Additional Counseling Services
The Studierendenwerk Freiburg, for example, offers additional counseling services for students in various life situations. These include psychological counseling (available on-site) and support for students with children. A telephone counseling service is available for immediate assistance.
