Freshmen

Only a few more weeks before students from all parts of the country will start migrating to the BW Cooperative State University. The semester starts at the beginning of October. An estimated 800 new students are expected to launch their studies. They will be alternately studying for three semesters at the university and be trained for three months in their training companies. (25 July 2011)

Two Study Information Days

This year, there will be two Study Information Days. On November 16, the faculty for Business Administration will introduce itself to all interested high-school students. On November 17, the faculty for Social Studies will do the same. Presentations on the dual study system, campus tours, company information booths and many other events are planned. The Best High School Graduates

According to research by the University Tübingen, high school students with the highest GPAs and the highest mathematical knowledge study at the BW Cooperate State University. One reason for this could be the selection procedure followed by the training companies. (10 May 2011)

SUMMER SCHOOL 2011

From July 4th to 15th, Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Villingen-Schwenningen had hosted the Summer School 2011. Our guests this year came from Tula State University, Leo-Tolstoi-University Tula, St. Petersburg University of Design and Technology and Moscow International Business School.

This year's Summer School included an academic and cultural program. The students attended the seminar "Business Culture in Germany" which gave them an insight on the business etiquette of Germany as well as an idea of how to work with people from diverse international backgrounds.

INTERNATIONAL SEMESTER

The International Semester at Baden-Wuerttemberg Coope-
rative State University Villingen-Schwenningen
takes place twice a year, and is designed to challenge and inspire an international mix of students.               
Students from partner universities can choose from a variety of lectures and seminars, all of which are taught in English, as well as language classes at different levels.


As a student in the International Semester you will also be able to participate in a varied programme of cultural and social activities, including company visits and trips around the beautiful Black Forest region.
