Social Work - Youth and Family Welfare Services (B.A.)

Youth and Family
Welfare Services

A requirement of the different working areas in the study programme is the necessity of specialised personnel to engage with children, adolescents and their families. They should be capable of understanding their individual circumstances, problems and social situations in their respective contexts and developing help and support mechanisms derived from these together with those concerned. A more general level of professional competence is, therefore, expected in this context, due to the diversity of the duties involved. This encompasses both the selection and application of methods and concepts in case-related work with different client groups and the supervision, planning and coordination of help and support providers.
