International students are very welcome! Further information regarding the application process, internships and academic studies are available here. The International Club offers great opportunities to socialize with other students here at Villingen-Schwenningen.
International Fulltime Students
If you are not a German citizen and are applying from abroad please note the entry requirements for the Duale Hochschule / Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University. Also, you must have a training contract with one of our cooperating training companies before you can apply.

If you are a student at one of our cooperating universities abroad, you must contact the international office at your university. There, you will find the information necessary to spend an academic term or an internship with one of our cooperating companies here.

International Club
The International Club was founded in view of the increasing number of international students. Its goal is to integrate German students into supporting international students here in Villingen-Schwenningen. If you are going to spend a term of study here, you should contact the International Club for questions about your recreational activities.

Summer School The Summer School at Baden-Wurttemberg Cooperative State University Villingen-Schwenningen is a two-week academic event organized every July for interested students from partner institutions. The Summer School combines different academic methodologies such as lectures, round-table discussions, group-work, or presentations with a varied cultural program in English. More information
Friendship Program
The Friendship Program was initiated by Prof. Dr. Sommer in the Spring of 2008. The staff at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University VS is invited to take part in the internationalization and can invite any number of our international students to spend time wtih them and their families. The richness and cultural exchange of this experience has been a source of great pleasure for our staff as well as our international students.
