Welcome!

We at the BW Cooperative State University wish to invite international students to come and study in Villingen-Schwenningen.  Students have the option to either spend a semester studying on-campus, or they may wish to complete an internship with one of our 1200 partner companies.  Our university at Villingen-Schwenningen offers many extra-curricular opportunities for international students. Some of these include the International Club and our Friendship Program.

International Club

The International Club offers exchange students the opportunity to socialize with each other and their fellow German students. The International Club wants to help international students getting settled into their new lives in Germany. We also offer a Friendship Program that allows students to get to know their professors or teachers in an informal setting by going on outings with them or being invited to their home for dinner with the family.

Study in English or German

Exchange Students have the opportunity to study at Villingen-Schwenningen in either German or English (the International Semester takes place twice a year).  Students who wish to participate in our International Programs must get an application form from their university's International Office or download it here.  After filling out the application, leave it with the person responsible for Studying Abroad at your home university.  Finally, fill out the rest of the paperwork (as indicated on the application), and you’re good to go.
