Location

Villingen-Schwenningen is situated in southwestern Germany between the Black forest and the Swabian Alps about an hour’s drive from Lake Constance, Stuttgart, Freiburg or Zurich. Baden-Wurttemberg Cooperate State University Villingen-Schwenningen has three sites in Schwenningen.

How to get here

By car

Approaching on the A81 motorway, take the "Villingen-Schwenningen" exit , direction Villingen-Schwenningen and follow the signs “Hochschulen-VS” or “DHBW”. The main building of DHBW-VS is situated directly opposite the train station.

By train

Rail passengers get off at the railway station “Schwenningen (Neckar)”, which is directly opposite Cooperate State University main building.
By plane, you fly to “Flughafen/ Airport Stuttgart Echterdingen” (108km, train connection) or “Airport Zurich” (107km, train connection).From the airport you should take train to Schwenningen (Neckar) railway station.  You can check your connection on the railway portal www.bahn.de.

Parking facilities

At each site car parks have been created. Visitor’s car parks can be found on every campus. Student parking is nearby each site.
